CV Owner Instructions

BSOS Faculty are asked to keep CVs up to date on the BSOS CV Manager system.  The process for updating your user profile and the link to your CV are straightforward.

  1. From the public view of the CV system, please select the Update Your CV link. 
     
  2. The campus login page appears.  Please log in using your University ID (UID or Directory ID) and the related password.
    [Please note that the first time you log in with your Directory ID you will be asked to verify your UID - which is the 9-digit campus ID]
     
  3. When you have successfully logged in, your CV Profile page appears.  This displays your current name, email address, and link to your CV.  If any of this information is not accurate, please update it for the CV Management System (does not affect other campus systems).
     
  4. Under the CV section, there are 3 options:
     
    Option Action
    Link to CV Online Use this option to provide a URL link to a Web page where your CV is located. The link will be added to the CV Manager system.  In the Link to: box, please enter the web address where your CV is located.
    Upload CV file Use this option to provide a file where your CV information is located.  The file will be stored to the CV Manager system and a link to it will be created.  This file must be stored on the computer you are currently using.  Please click the Browse button to locate your CV file and select the file. 
    Remove CV Information Use this option to remove your CV if it is no longer accurate or available.  Please remember to update your CV information on this system as soon as possible.

  5.    After selecting one of the options above, please click the Update button to save your changes.
